After Start Mode
After the engine starts and the oil pressure rises, the VP-200 switches to After-Start Mode. The alternator field is turned on and the avionics and other electronics come on automatically. There is a short delay before each device turns on so that things turn on gradually rather than all at once. If you have the Climate Control System installed, then the air conditioning comes on automatically if needed. The screen shows you exactly what is on, what is off, what is faulted, and what it is doing. All looks good.
