Default Trim rate

Do I need to do anything special when setting up my flaps (add micro switches etc.) so that I can get dual rate trim speed. i.e. Slower rate when the flaps are up, faster rate when the flaps are down. Will the VP200 do this without additional switches and wiring?

With the VP-200 you do not. The trim rate is based on aircraft speed using the GPS and eventually airspeed.

The VP-50/100 use an external swtich - either an airspeed switch, flap up microswitch, or panel switch to vary the trim motor speed.
