Avidyne Release 9 Interface?

Is it possible to get engine and air data from an Avidyne Release 9 system?

I prefer the Avidyne to the Garmin GX900 and now that it is an option for Lancair, there should be more interest in the experimental market.

We currently do not support the Avidyne R9 system. If you have the manuals for it, we can take a look and see if they output the engine data.

According to M. Ingram of Avidyne as relayed to me by Mike Fisher of Lancair, the R9 has an ARINC 429 interface that outputs engine and air data. However, the details have only been provided to airframe manufacturers during their development flight testing. Install manuals are only provided to authorized dealers of which Lancair is one. However, Lancair has not done an R9 install yet.
